The concept for the YumMeh app was created for Foodies to review, follow, contact and find new trucks to experience.
It's based on the needs of Foodies & Food Trucks (and Pop-Up food experiences) but has a strong foundation in art and fun, promoting positivity and honesty as well. You can review someone with stars for good experiences (Yum) or sad ghosts for not-so-great experiences (Meh).
Creative Director / Concept: I developed the entire project from concept, sketches, wireframes, design and prototype.
Tools: Hand drawn elements, MacBook Pro + Adobe CS Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, XD, iPad Pro + Procreate.
Ideation stages: Pencil on paper and ink on paper sketches showcasing the brainstorming process.
Once the direction and feel was narrowed down, it was easiest to just be free on paper and sketch out the flow with hand rendered drawings before taking it into the digital or prototyping stage.
