I had the great honor in 2017 to work with Okayama Denim and Pure Blue Japan on their initial collaboration, coinciding with PBJ's 20 year anniversary. I was able to create custom artwork for the Natural Togichi Leather waistband patch, interior pocket artwork, tote bag as well as branding details such as the tonal indigo leaf that adorns the rear right back pocket.
The resulting indigo x indigo denim was a proprietary blend of 18oz warp and 14oz weft, yielding a unique 16oz in a fabric that has ample potential for high contrast fades while not being overly coarse in texture.
