In 2018 I created a detailed and illustrated presentation about the curation process, highlighting how my daily process as Head of Curation & Creative was broken down through the day and how that touches and affects every aspect of business at Society6.
As the presentation unfolds, viewers could see the pitch for a new view into how work was uploaded to the site.
This was eventually implemented with a new Curation Tool, allowing new uploads to be filtered into various buckets.
The new tool also informed the new algorithm, educating the way we saw approved artwork and
could identify low quality uploads and IP infringements.
